Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. She has Italian origins (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda, California's youngest child was raised in her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a ten-year-old old, Linda became fascinated with acting following her performance in an instrumental role during her school's Christmas play. She did school and community plays. Linda went to Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. When she graduated, she had to decide whether to go to New York to pursue theater or Los Angeles to pursue film and television. After graduating, she had decide whether or not to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda was the first actress to play a major role as a character Bone Chillers, a 1996 television show. Her breakthrough part came when she was cast as a character in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lindsay Weir played the academic decathlete in the cult show and was awarded the Emmy Award.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) is better known under the stage name Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her career began in 2010, with the British television series Just William, in which she attended London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she was cast in the role of lead in Cinderella, a fantasy film. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James went on to portray the role of Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) as well as starring in various movies, including the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Pam & Tommy, a biographical series on television based upon the life of Pamela Anderson (released in 2022) was nominated for a Golden Globe Award winner and a Primetime Emmy Award.
