Audra's versatility and breadth as an artist is unmatched. Audra has been awarded the Tony Awards six times, as well as two Grammy Awards and one Emmy Award. And in 2012, her 5th Tony and first in the Leading Actress category was won for her performance as the titular character in The Gershwins Porgy and Bess. The Tony Awards most-decorated performer in 2014 was Billie Holiday, who she played in Lady Day At Emerson's Bar & Grill. This is exactly the role she portrayed for her 2017 West End London debut for which she has been named for the Olivier Award. As well as making history with the most competitive wins by an actor as well as becoming the first to win awards for all four categories of acting. The Bite will be a six-episode drama about a pandemic coproduced with Spectrum Originals, CBS Studios and Taylor Schilling in 2021. Having first appeared in the role of U.S. attorney Liz Lawrence in 2009 on CBS's medical show The Good Wife in 2018 McDonald returned to her part (now named Liz Reddick) as a season regular on The Good Fight on Paramount+ getting three Critics Choice Award nominations for her role. She is currently appearing as a guest in Julian Fellowes's historical drama The Gilded Age on HBO.
